Myspace blog: Nerves

Sunday was nerve-wracking. Nate Edwardson asked me to lead a few worship songs at the end of the stirring, and i said ok. He asked me right as we were about to go into the singing at the end. I was surprised, but not really, because I knew on thursday, friday, and saturday that he was going to ask me. I think God was preparing me and letting me see into the future a bit. that's cool. that knowledge helped calm my nerves, but my voice was still feeling weak and wavering. but it was the first time, that's to be expected. i'm glad i got to do it though. I think people were able to encounter God so it's all worth it. i was able to, at least.
